At first high-quality Arabica and washed noble Robusta beans are roasted very carefully and then became united. The coffee is named Junge because the coffee cherries, which are hand picked and sorted, are exclusively from young plants. The difference to older plants is noticeable in the power and the juiciness of the coffee cherries. On average they are a little larger than raw beans from older coffee plants.
Our exclusive blend of Arabica and washed Robusta beans presents with a hazelnut brown colour.
Junge has an intense and powerful aroma and contains warm spicy notes with hints of ginger. It tastes like a lot of body and has an excellent stable crema. Important for sensitive stomachs: the delicate, mild acidity is anything but aggressive and therefore very agreeable.
