A unique coffee prospers due to the unique monsoon climate in the Malabar region on the south west coast of India.
Even in its rawness, it differs in its characteristic straw-brown to yellowish colour.
Moone has a smooth taste, a low acidity and a wide, protruding body with a slightly nutty, caramel flavour.
The coffee is named after the "monsooning" method, where the coffee beans are dampened by the monsoon rain after the harvest and then dry naturally for several weeks in consequence of strong monsoon winds. Unique taste.
